How does the mobile key work?

At Flatvold and Skavdalslia in Bodø, Kaialundveien in Mo i Rana and at Røstad student housing in Levanger, we use mobile keys.
With a mobile key, you get the key directly in the app «Studentinord bolig». The key is linked to your rental contract and is registered with a lock ID that gives you access to your unit, front doors, and other doors in the building you need. Quite simply and completely safe.
How to use your mobile key
- Download the app «Studentinord bolig» and log in with your user
- If you have an active rental contract, "Mobile key" will be displayed in the notification center. Tap this.
- For first-time use, you may be asked to provide access to bluetooth / location
- Hold the mobile phone in front of the lock to open or lock the door
- NB! Always carry your mobile phone with you when you leave your room - to avoid being locked out.
Your key will be active and available to you in the app from 12 noon the first day of your rental contract.
Problems with your key?
- The housing contract MUST be signed before the mobile key will appear in the housing app.
- Try holding the display side of the cell phone against the lock, or remove the cover, if the lock does not open when you hold the backside of the phone against it.
- Still not working? Call the Housing office: +47 476 20 800 (8 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.)
- Outside the Housing office's opening hours, you can call the security company.
